Yarn bombing update: He's stylin'!

I did my little yarn bombing thing on Thursday night, Nov. 12, and I was pleased to notice today that not only is my statue still wearing his yarny goodness, but he's been re-styled! Someone else has styled him to look like a cool snow-boarding dude.

Love it!!!! Keep us informed how long he wears it - LOL Maybe you ought to drop a note to your local paper about the project and maybe he'll get some notoriety!

Hi - keep it up! It looks great!

I'm with Knitta Please, and we're working on curating a book about the yarnbombing movement around the world. We're looking for photo submissions of projects, so if you're interested... We want your pictures! Look at a little more info here: http://knittaporfavor.wordpress.com/the-knitta-book/

Thanks! Knitta Please

Funny, Betty, this book also struck my imagination as well. Do you suppose it's our inner revolutionista clawing to get out - but in a peaceful way? There is a wonderful LYS in Cleveland OH who has done its share of yarnbombing all along the artsy district where it operates by yarnbombing a bunch of parking meters. So you are in good company. I think I am going to buy that book! Chloe

I'm glad that your person still has his cowl! You must have had fun sneaking out, putting it on him, and driving off in the getaway car! Do you have any other statues in mind to "yarnbomb?"

I don't have future plans that involve statues, but I do have an idea for something in the spring in the same downtown area.
